Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. Her family relocated to Oxfordshire when she was five which is where she went to the Dragon School. Emma was only six when she decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. The actress trained for several years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part time theatre school in Oxford in which she learned singing and acting. It was already her turn to perform in various Stagecoach or school shows when she turned ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is the film from 2001 remake from J.K. Rowling's bestselling book was announced in 1999. Emma was discovered by agents via her Oxford teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after auditioning for eight times. They were selected as the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. It broke all records with regards to the opening weekend and revenues, and it also became one of the top 2001 films. Film critics praised the film as well as the acting performances of the three leading young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a popular British publication, has praised Emma for her performance. Emma's performance won her a nomination and was awarded five more times for the movie.
