Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. She spent most of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, along with any dramatic performance. At age 16 she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
